Hainan Airlines chooses Blacklane for complimentary limo services

China’s Hainan Airlines to use Blacklane exclusively at all seven U.S. destinations.

Hainan Airlines is now using Blacklane exclusively for complimentary U.S. airport transfers. For flights between China and the U.S., Hainan’s select business class passengers can receive a Blacklane chauffeured ride to and from:

  • Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).
  • Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD).
  • Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (LAS).
  • Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
  • New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).
  • Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC).
  • Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (SEA).

Hainan, China’s largest private airline, is the country’s only airline to receive a five-star rating by Skytrax for seven continuous years. This year, it celebrates its tenth anniversary of direct China-U.S. flights. Its twelve direct routes between the two countries – including the first from western Chinese cities Chengdu and Chongqing to New York — are the most of any Chinese airline. It was also the first Chinese airline to operate a Beijing-Chicago route and a direct flight between the Chinese mainland and Las Vegas.

Hainan stands for quality, and that includes to and from airports. There’s no more relaxing way to begin and end a journey than a chauffeured ride in a premium vehicle,” said Joel Chusid, Executive Director, U.S. Region at Hainan Airlines. “Blacklane improves our passengers’ trips and our operations by supplying a consistent, high-quality experience in all our U.S. destinations.”

Creating the perfect customer experience is Hainan Airlines’ continuous quest. The launch of Blacklane’s partnership is part of our longer-term vision of transforming customer experiences, innovating cost structures and delivering truly integrated, high-quality door-to-door journeys at all our U.S. destinations,” said Chusid.

Hainan’s select business class travelers receive a tailored Blacklane experience that includes:

  • Real-time flight tracking and adjustment of pickup times based on actual arrival times.
  • Pickup signs branded with the Hainan Airlines and Blacklane logos.
  • Commercially licensed and insured chauffeurs dressed in suits.
  • Driver meet-and-greet service, including luggage assistance. U.S. airport pickups occur after baggage claim and customs.
  • Driver contact information sent over SMS and email one hour before pick-up.
  • 24/7 Mandarin- and English-speaking customer care agents available on local China and U.S. numbers.

Blacklane serves 72 cities in the U.S. Worldwide, Blacklane reaches more than 250 cities, 50 countries and 500 airports. Its network of local driver partners provides a familiar and premium experience in business-class and first-class vehicles. For those booking directly, Blacklane’s multi-lingual website and apps let travelers book rides in less than a minute, with all-inclusive rates. Travelers can reserve, change or cancel rides with as little as one hour’s notice. Blacklane’s customer service team is always available over phone, email and social media.

For full-service, customer-centric airlines, complimentary airport transfers have always been a natural extension of the premium airline experience,” said Jens Wohltorf, CEO and co-founder of Blacklane. “By selecting Blacklane as its exclusive partner, Hainan Airlines is spearheading the evolution towards combining a consistently high-quality door-to-door experience with seamless booking and management technologies, thereby providing business-class passengers much-needed peace of mind.”
