Region`s Largest International Feng Shui Convention Taking Place in Singapore for Second Year. The 2nd International FengShui Convention (IFSC) 2005 – largest international event in the Feng Shui community returns on November 5th – 6th at Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The Singapore Tourism Board is pleased to support the second International Feng Shui Conference, the only English Feng Shui Conference in the world where practitioners from various Feng Shui schools around the region can share best practices, network and learn from the renowned Feng Shui Masters who will be speaking at the conference, said Ms Catherine McNabb, Director, Strategic Clusters I, Business Travel & MICE, STB.

In addition to its strategic location in the heart of Southeast Asia, its world-class meetings facilities and exciting leisure attractions, Singapore is also home to a thriving Feng Shui industry. This congregation of Feng Shui enthusiasts, practitioners and academics for intellectual exchange attests to Singapore`s attractiveness as a preferred meeting place, she added.

More than 500 delegates from 20 countries are expected to attend this year`s event. They comprises of practitioners, academics and enthusiasts. We are pleased to see delegates from neighbouring countries and as far as the US, Middle East and Eastern Europe, attending the inaugural event last year. This year, more than half of the delegates are expected from overseas, said Mr Darren Ng, Managing Director of TTG Asia Media and Chairman of International Feng Shui Association (IFSA). Our aim is to focus on the best practices of Feng Shui and to bring together Feng Shui practitioners from different disciplines and countries to share their teachings on this profound metaphysical science, he added.

IFSC 2004 had initiated the formation of the International Feng Shui Association (IFSA). Registered with the Society Acts of Singapore, the executive committee consists of 11 reputable international Feng Shui Masters. The first annual general meeting will take place prior to the opening of IFSC 2005 on November 4th.

The 12 distinguished speakers are Master Adeline Pang, Prof C.P Lim, Master G.K Ham, Master Goh Guan Leong, Dr Jin Peh, Master Jodi Brunner, Master Raymond Lo, Master Stephen Skinner, Master Tan Khoon Yong, Grand Master Yap Cheng Hai, Master Victor L. Dy and Master Vincent Koh. They will be covering the principles of Feng Shui and its applications to daily life throughout the 10 seminars and two workshops. To round off, a panel discussion will be open for delegates to interact with the speakers.
