Dusit continues to target Asia’s two largest markets, India and China. Dusit will inaugurate a hotel in New Delhi before year-end while a second China property is due for opening in 2013 in Hainan.
BANGKOK- Dusit Devarana Hainan will be the second property for Thailand-based Dusit International Group. Due for completion in 2013, the hotel will be located on China’s tropical Island of Hainan, some 80 km away from Sanya, the southernmost city of the People’s Republic. The deluxe hotel will offer 300 rooms in a low-rise resort consisting mostly from villas. The Dusit property will have an architecture comparable to 1900-style resorts reminiscent of hotel properties on the US East Coast. But the most intriguing character of the Dusit Devarana is the fact that the resort is uniquely located within the rare natural 93° hot springs of Baoting’s “Seven Fairy Mountains”. The resort will then showcase various spring-water features, from outdoor bathing pools to en-suite bathrooms supplied with fresh hot and cold spring water. The resort will integrate Dusit signature Devarana spa. Activities such as trekking and biking in the surrounding mountains will also be available, turning the resort into an ideal destination for families and outdoor active holidays.

Dusit opened its first resort in China at the end of 2011 also on Hainan Island.
Dusit Devarana is a concept integrating conference and spa facilities within a deluxe hotel or resort. Further development plans include the opening of Dusit Deravana New Delhi this year as well as Dusit Deravana Jaipur and Dusit Deravana Rishikesh, all the three properties being located in India.
