Cebu Pacific introduces new A330-300 on Singapore-Manila route

Cebu Air Inc. is the largest carrier in the Philippine air transportation industry, offering its low-cost services to more destinations and routes with higher flight frequency within the Philippines than any other airline.

SINGAPORE – Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, begins operating its brand-new Airbus A330-300 aircraft on the popular Manila-Singapore-Manila route.

CEB’s brand-new Airbus A330-300 aircraft was recently delivered from Toulouse, France. This aircraft will be deployed to Incheon and Singapore, before CEB’s daily Manila-Dubai service commences on October 7, 2013. Three additional Airbus A330-300 aircraft will be delivered by 2014 for CEB’s long-haul operations.

To celebrate the introduction of the new aircraft on this important route, passengers departing on the return flight from Singapore to Manila were sent off with fanfare and freebies, including exclusive CEB merchandise and Duty Free Swarovski goodies. The first inaugural flight passenger to check-in at the airport was also awarded with a round-trip ticket to Manila, while Ceb, the airline’s loveable mascot, posed for photos with guests.

“This highly efficient wide-body aircraft will allow us to continue offering our trademark lowest fares to our passengers, as they travel to the Philippines and beyond. After the inaugural flights of our first Airbus A330-300 aircraft to Seoul and to Singapore, we look forward to expanding our service offerings to Dubai later this year,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

CEB flies from Singapore to Manila 25 times weekly, to Cebu 10 times weekly, to Clark daily and to Iloilo thrice weekly. Its network covers 34 domestic and 22 international destinations across Asia.
