Representatives from Rising Star Exhibitions, The UK based exhibition organizer of the Beijing International Travel and Tourism Market (BITTM), 20 – 23 April 2005, reported back to London from attending The Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai last week.

The team, headed by Adrian Tapping, Vice President of Rising Star Media Group, shareholder in Rising Star Exhibitions, chose the event to introduce BITTM to a number of destinations taking significant space at ATM.

“We are delighted with the response from the presentations made during the event and the momentum that our attendance at ATM will undoubtedly bring to BITTM next year and beyond” commented Mr. Tapping. “Both Rising Star Media Group and Tarsus have a successful track record of launching and executing successful media projects globally and being that BITTM is the only B2B International Travel and Tourism exhibition to address the outbound account of China it is a straight forward concept that is being very well received” he continued.

Bobby T. Koshy, senior executive of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, one of the numerous destinations currently reviewing requirements for BITTM 2005 added that “The present and future outbound figures from China cannot be ignored and we are pleased that Rising Star Exhibitions, with the excellent management team in place, will be providing a trade event that will give access to the market”.

Mark W. Bramley, Director of Sales & Marketing, The Washington & The Bentley Hotels, London, added weight by saying that “We have had a clear, positive demonstration of Rising Star Media Group products through our involvement with Exclusive Traveller Magazine in Russia and whilst we are now dealing with a totally different market, I have no doubt that it will prove very beneficial for all. I have not seen a bad product from the group and I see no reason why this should change now.”

And it was not just destinations, hotels and airlines showing significant interest in BITTM 2005. Ellie Riches PA to the Chairman & Co-Director of Lane Homes UK Real Estate based in Cyprus added that “Lane Homes UK has been at the forefront of many international real estate markets for over 25 years and it is refreshing to see a UK media company with such a strong product in China”.

Adrian Tapping concluded “The visit to ATM 2004 underlined just how important an event BITTM will be from 2005. With the response levels and business generation from the 4 days of attendance by myself and the team, we can look forward to a continuation of the excellent start made in making BITTM a world beating travel trade event”.
