BITTM, the recently launched Beijing International Travel and Tourism Market is pleased to announce that CECTA, Central European Countries Travel Association will be hosting a Central European Pavilion at BITTM next April. The main goal of the pavilion will be to create a Central European marketing focus for the China travel market.

It is hoped that this new marketing initiative will ensure that Central European tourism can demonstrate to the China travel trade the attractions of the whole region, such as its history, culture and artistic heritage. The pavilion will provide a colourful and dramatic platform for presenting the attractions on offer in the Central European countries.

The Pavilion will also feature a series of conferences and seminars and press events that are motivational, educational, and co-ordinated to project a synergistic image for the whole region.

BITTM, which will take place between 20 – 23rd of April 2005 in Beijing, China, is an exclusively business to business exhibition and will provide a new learning curve for the global travel industry.

Cecta and BITTM have recognised this unique opportunity and will bring to the exhibition a new vision for the China travel trade and create a better understanding and appreciation of the offerings available in Central Europe.

The China outbound travel market is projected to grow to 100 million by 2020; BITTM provides a unique opportunity for Central Europe to claim a share of this travel market.

Stanislava Blagoeva, CEO of Rising Star Exhibitions Ltd. – the organiser of BITTM, said: I am excited by the opportunity of working closely with Cecta on introducing the Central European product to the Chinese travel trade in its unification. The EU and Central Europe are considered by China to be an important partner, and developing new relations through tourism is a key issue for the local authorities.
