Best Western launches in Lahore

Located just off Mall Road in the center of the Punjabi city, BEST WESTERN Lahore will bring a new level of international quality accommodation to this thriving city.

BANGKOK – Best Western International – The World’s Largest Hotel Chain – continued a series of Asian ‘firsts’ with the launch of its debut hotel in Lahore, Pakistan.

Located just off Mall Road in the center of the Punjabi city, BEST WESTERN Lahore will bring a new level of international quality accommodation to this thriving city. The property offers 64 comfortable, air-conditioned rooms, all equipped with the latest facilities including flat-screen televisions with international satellite channels, well-stocked minibars and complimentary high-speed internet access.

The hotel’s facilities also include a restaurant serving local Punjabi specialties and international delicacies, a fitness center with a range of modern cardio-vascular equipment, and conference and banqueting space suitable for hosting corporate meetings and social events.

“We are delighted to be debuting in yet another key Asian market,” said Glenn de Souza, Best Western International’s Vice President International Operations – Asia & the Middle East. “Last year we opened our first properties in several major Asian cities, including Kuala Lumpur, Riyadh and Muscat. Now, as we enter 2013 we’re proud to be launching one of the only international-standard hotels in Lahore.

“As Pakistan’s second largest city, with a population of more than six million people, Lahore is a very exciting market. As a growing destination for domestic and international corporate travel, we are confident the BEST WESTERN Lahore will be a great success,” Mr. de Souza added.

BEST WESTERN Lahore will become the company’s second hotel in Pakistan, joining the 56-room BEST WESTERN Islamabad.
