Gulf Air is a key participant in Bahrain’s contemporary stand at the Asian Aerospace Show 2006 being held at the Changi Exhibition Centre in Singapore.

With a strong focus on technological innovation, the specially designed stand showcases Bahrain International Airport as a premium aviation hub in the Middle East and features the Kingdom’s infrastructure and facilities including a model of the iconic air traffic control tower and Gulf Air’s new simulator centre.

The opening was attended by Bahrain’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transportation Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, who was accompanied by the Singaporean Minister of Defence and the Minister of Transportation.

The Gulf Air delegation in Singapore is headed by Gulf Air Vice President Finance Ahmed Al Hammadi who also attended the IATA Asian Aerospace Aviation Summit. At the one-day summit, global industry leaders discussed strategies for the future, including ways to deal with the soaring fuel prices, new cost cutting measures, changing passenger dynamics and expectations, and how to take advantage of the unprecedented opportunities in emerging Asian markets.
