Accor launches ATIOM mobile solution to empower talents across Southeast Asia

In Southeast Asia, Japan & South Korea, the Group employs over 30,000 Heartists® in nearly 400 hotels.

Singapore – Accor, the region’s largest international hotel operator, has joined forces with ATIOM, a mobile workplace solution to empower talents by enabling them to learn and grow. In Southeast Asia, Japan & South Korea, the Group employs over 30,000 Heartists in nearly 400 hotels, and the introduction of this app will provide effective training, communication, and real-time engagement with frontline teams across the 12 countries.

Accor internal users will be able to use the platform daily to discover an array of information about the organisation from regional news, launch of new campaigns, to global announcements. The tool will also allow frontline talents to consume news in short bursts and complete 5-minute bite-sized training modules around topics such as Loyalty to help drive teams’ performance and successful achievement of the Group’s 2022 ambitions.

“At Accor, our people are our number-one asset and we take great pride in putting them at the heart of everything we do,” said Kerry Healy, Chief Commercial Officer, Accor Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea. “We are thrilled to partner with ATIOM, a perfect mobile solution to be closer to our frontline teams, providing them with real-time information and valuable insights to support them in their daily interactions with our guests and help them achieve their targets. The app does more than just training modules as it allows us to push multiple types of content, whether it’s a new promotion launch, key updates, or even CSR initiatives and best practices, allowing for hub-wide collaboration.”

The mobile app allows for internal sharing of strategic content targeted to hotel teams from Front Office, F&B Service, Reservations, Sales, Concierge. To make it fun and effortless for users, the tool is gamified with points to redeem prizes and a leaderboard, allowing Accor to provide real incentives for their Heartists.

Based in Singapore, ATIOM works with industry leaders across Asia to transform their workforce, with clients including global leading real estate, hospitality, and facility management. It also allows cross-regional teams to have access to a shared content library including presentations, videos, and sales playbooks.

The mobile solution is a first of its kind for Accor Group, and will be available in five local languages, including Thai, Vietnamese, Bahasa, Japanese and Korean.
