TAT article contest winners announced

The TAT's mission is to promote Thailand as a tourist destination to potential visitors worldwide, while also supporting the development of the Kingdom's tourism industry.

BANGKOK – TAT’s Thailand Article Contest has now ended, and four winners have been chosen. The contest with the theme, “Where in Thailand inspired you the most?”, was open to all writers with the aim of inspiring others to visit Thailand and her amazing sites and destinations.

Many excellent articles were received and the following four were chosen for the top prizes as follows:

1st Prize of USD 1,000 went to Mr. Peter Litchfield from United Kingdom for his inspiring article entitled, “Welcome to Bangkok”.
3 runner-ups were also chosen, with each of them being awarded USD 500. The runner-ups in the contest were:
Ms. Dina Mousa from South Korea, for her article entitled, “Hearts for the Elephants”
Ms. Ann Nguyen from United States for her article entitled, “Escape to Maya Beach”
Ms. Jessica Hill from United States, for her article entitled, “Meant to Move to Isaan”

All of the articles received were interesting, moving and inspirational, showing the diversity and beauty of experiences and destinations throughout the Kingdom.

TAT wishes to thank all participants in the article contest whose entries were truly inspiring, many of which were worthy of honor and recognition.
