ExecuJet and RUAG forge a strategic alliance

Two strong players in business aviation, ExecuJet Aviation Group and RUAG, are teaming up to deliver enhanced MRO support to their clients. By signing the strategic alliance agreement on May 3rd, 2010, the two companies combine their core strengths. As a result, present and future customers will benefit from a full range of aircraft management and aftermarket services out of one hand – from pre-owned and new aircraft sales through aircraft management to comprehensive maintenance, modification and refurbishment services.

The strategic alliance gives ExecuJet access to European destinations like Geneva, Switzerland, and Oberpfaffenhofen, near Munich, Germany, as well as to RUAG’s broad customer base. In return, RUAG will get the opportunity to provide maintenance services to ExecuJet’s clients in their European Maintenance Competence Centres. The alliance is seen by both companies as a chance to become a vital alternative for demanding clients in the global marketplace.

“There is considerable synergy in maintenance expertise and operational skills between RUAG and ExecuJet and we are delighted to forge a relationship with a like-minded and reputable aviation company,” said Cedric Migeon, Managing Director of ExecuJet Europe. “Our respective clients will benefit from additional skills as we expand the capabilities we can offer them.”

“Both companies, ExecuJet and RUAG Business Aviation, provide a distinct range of aircraft services. By entering the strategic partnership, we are complementing each other in our fields of expertise,” said Beat Hohener, Vice President of RUAG Business Aviation. “We are pleased to collaborate with ExecuJet, a strong and globally networked partner.”
