CTM opens new office on Gold Coast

Travel management company Corporate Travel Management (CTM), has celebrated the opening of its new Gold Coast office. The Gold Coast workforce of the ASX-listed company has a lot to celebrate, after winning key accounts such as Aecom and Magic Millions ahead of their big move.

CTM Operations Manager for the Gold Coast, Gemma Weatherby, is obviously proud of the new home for her staff. “Over ten years ago we started out on the Gold Coast as a client ‘implant’, before moving to our own stand-alone office in Bundall housing five staff in 2004 – today we have 12 staff and so we needed a new office to house them all!” said Weatherby, who noted the office will welcome a further two new staff in the very near future.

“It really is an exciting time for all of the Gold Coast staff of CTM, with the company planning to turnover $27m this financial year.”

CTM General Manager for Queensland, Andre Moten, said the Gold Coast team’s growth was testament to the position they play in the Gold Coast corporate market.

“The Gold Coast is certainly a unique place to live and a unique place to do business – we love that about the area and we like to think with our highly personalised approach and commitment to innovation, we are uniquely able to service this continuously evolving and growing market,” said Moten.

“The plan is to ultimately position our Gold Coast office as a national hub for our travel consulting business. As the holders of the largest corporate account for the Gold Coast for 7 years and growth trending up continuously, it really is an exciting time for CTM and especially for our Gold Coast team.”

It has been a big few weeks for CTM, with the company acquiring the Melbourne-based etm group to bolster its Melbourne presence and its MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferencing and Events) and VIP Leisure service offerings nationally earlier this month.
