The new dates of AIME 2010, 18th Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo, will be 2-3 March not 27-28 April as previously advised. The change of date is a result of industry requests for AIME to be held as close as possible to February, new availability at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, and the declaration of Monday 26 April as a substitute public holiday for ANZAC Day in the State of Victoria.
“AIME is traditionally the first industry event of the year and our exhibitors, hosted buyers and visitors see this as an important strategic advantage. We would like to thank the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) and their clients for facilitating this move,” said Paul Kennedy, MBE, Group Exhibition Director, Reed Travel Exhibitions Meetings and Incentive Events.
AIME is organised by Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE) on behalf of the Melbourne Convention + Visitors Bureau. AIME forms part of the RTE portfolio of Global Meetings and Incentives Events along with EIBTM, GIBTM, CIBTM, AIBTM and the ICCA Exhibition in association with the ICCA Congress. RTE organises 13 events worldwide, including World Travel Market, Arabian Travel Market, International Golf Travel Market, Top Resa, International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM), La Cumbre, City Break, and Asia Luxury Travel Market (ALTM).
