Qantas and Australian Airlines said they would carry stranded Air Paradise ticket holders back to Australia from Bali following the Indonesian carrier`s announcement that it would cease operations.

Qantas Executive General Manager John Borghetti said stranded passengers with Air Paradise tickets would be accommodated at no cost on Qantas and Australian Airlines services from Bali to Australia up to 10 December.

For passengers wishing to leave Bali immediately, we are finalising plans to operate special Qantas services tomorrow and Friday from Bali to Perth, Mr Borghetti said.

We will operate more special services if required, however we expect to be able to accommodate all remaining passengers on our scheduled services over the coming weeks, he said.

The Qantas Group offer is also extended to Air Paradise ticket holders from Indonesia who are stranded in Australia.

Mr Borghetti said Qantas and Australian Airlines would also make fares available for purchase for those Air Paradise customers who had tickets to travel from Australia to Bali, but had not departed, and still wished to travel.
