Amadeus and The Jetset Travelworld Group sign long term agreement

Amadeus and The Jetset Travelworld Group (JTG), an integrated travel business company, announced the signing of a long term agreement for Amadeus’ technology services.

JTG is an integrated travel business operating several wholesale travel businesses, franchise-based and affiliate retail agency networks, air ticket consolidation, airline representation and corporate travel management services. Amadeus is currently the core provider of distribution and IT solutions to the JTG subsidiaries, QBT, the largest Australian corporate travel management company and has serviced Qantas Holidays and Viva! Holidays wholesale businesses for a number of years.

JTG signed its agreement with Amadeus for QBT and its wholesale business due to Amadeus’ undisputable technology capabilities and will benefit from a number of sophisticated solutions including:
– Complete integration of the front, mid and back office system through the Amadeus Sales Management Solution;
– Superior online capabilities with Amadeus e-Travel Management, that integrates with the Amadeus Sales Management Solution;
– Fully customisable customer reports; and
– New automated processes enabling increased productivity for consultants.

Peter Lacaze, Chief Executive JTG said that Amadeus has been a strong and reliable partner in Australia, “The QBT business is important to JTG and partnering with Amadeus with its proven long term technology investment and unique and robust solutions was a natural choice for us.
