Increase of the number of flights to Nha Trang is conditioned by a high demand for this route among Russian travellers. This route is a unique one for the Moscow aviation hub.

HANOI – Starting from October 27, 2013, Vietnam Airlines will double the number of flights to Nha Trang (Vietnam) from the Moscow Domodedovo Airport. The flights will depart on Mondays and Fridays. And starting from February 1, 2014 a third weekly flight – on Wednesdays – is to be launched.

Vietnam Airlines perform flights to Domodedovo on the wide-body aircraft Boeing 777. Passengers can travel in business and economy classes. Early in February 2014, the airline plans to use airliners Airbus 330 to perform this flight.

Vietnam Airlines is a leader of the Vietnamese air carriage market; it has been a partner of Domodedovo since 2003 and besides the flights to Nha Trang, it also performs flights on Moscow – Ho Chi Minh (3 flights per week) and Moscow – Hanoi (3 flights per week) routes. The airline has a wide network of routes that covers 20 cities of Vietnam and 26 international routes (USA, Europe, Australia and Asia).

Those who prefer excursions will find here ancient Phan Thiet towers, Long Son Pagoda Temples, Ba Ho waterfalls, Monkey Island and medical centres with mineral water and mud baths.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport is the largest air hub in Russia, and in 2012, its total passenger traffic amounted to 28.2 million people. Since 2009, it has been holding the title of the best airport in Eastern Europe as rated by Skytrax. Domodedovo is the base airport in Moscow for member airlines of the largest global airline alliances – Star Alliance and oneworld.
