Twin-opening for Accor in Bangkok

Accor Asia Pacific is opening two hotels within the same complex: Mercure Bangkok Siam and Ibis Bangkok Siam are sharing the same building for the first time in Thailand.

BANGKOK – Mercure Bangkok Siam and Ibis Bangkok Siam are located in a brand new building, right in the heart of Bangkok and only steps away from the National Stadium BTS Station. It would not be anything exceptional about the opening of a new property, if both brands were not sharing the same tower, a concept unique so far to Thailand. Ibis is located in the lowest levels of the tower, while the Mercure Hotel is in the top floors.

Ibis has 189 rooms Bangkok Siam offers fully equipped facilities and contemporary dining options with “It’s all about TASTE TABLE” restaurant, which offers breakfast buffet in the morning and reinvents tapas for lunch and dinner. Modern and well designed, all rooms feature a satellite LCD TV, functional bathroom, free WiFi internet connection and more. An open-air swimming pool is also available for the guests.

The Mercure Bangkok Siam features also 189 superior, privilege and suite rooms all appointed with a warm and modern style. The complex includes free WiFi, 1 bar and 1 restaurant, swimming pool, fitness and meeting rooms. The bar is located on the 9th floor of the hotel with a cozy lounge and garden terrace overlooking the vibrant city of Bangkok. It offers a wide selection of international wines as well as light meals.

The two newly built hotels in Bangkok’s prime location “Siam”, launch attractive soft opening offers for all guests to enjoy. From December until 31 March 2013, the opening rate of Mercure Bangkok Siam starts from THB 2,012++ and ibis Bangkok Siam’s offer starts from THB 1,212++. Mercure Bangkok Siam and Ibis Bangkok Siam are located right at the footstep of BTS National Stadium Station, steps away from MBK shopping centre, Siam Centre, Siam Paragon and the Jim Thompson House.
