Travelport and Singapore Airlines extend global content agreement

Enhanced agreement offers new opportunities for travel agents. Travelport is a leading distribution services and e-commerce provider for the global travel industry. Travelport is comprised of the global distribution system (“GDS”) business, which includes the Galileo and Worldspan brands, its Airline IT Solutions business and a joint venture ownership of eNett.

SINGAPORE – Travelport, a leading distribution services and e-commerce provider for the global travel industry, has extended its global content agreement with Singapore Airlines.

The agreement provides Travelport-connected travel agents worldwide with access to Singapore Airlines’ full range of market fares. Singapore Airlines will also be leveraging Travelport’s functionalities to benefit travel agents by improving efficiencies when making and changing airline bookings.

Travelport now connects its travel agency subscribers worldwide to more than 430 airlines. Recent content agreements within the Asia-Pacific region include Virgin Australia, Scoot, Qantas, Air China, China Southern and China Eastern Airlines.
