Travel agents in South Korea to earn double points with G-Shop, GTA Loyalty Program

All new and existing G-Shop members will earn double points from February to March 2018.

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA – Global travel distributor GTA, part of the Hotelbeds Group, has launched a ‘Double the Points, Double the Rewards’ campaign to further incentivize travel agents and drum up the festive spirit during this holiday season. With more than 7,000 registered G-Shop members in Asia, GTA hopes to motivate more agents to sign up for this growing loyalty program where members can redeem exciting rewards such as the latest smartphones and vouchers from major brands.

Stuart Dale, GTA’s Regional Director of Retail Sales, Asia, says: “It’s exciting times for GTA as we join the Hotelbeds Group to become the leading distributor of hotels and ancillaries. Retail travel agents form a vital part of the overall strategy so it’s important that we deepen our relationships with these valued partners and continuously engage them with our loyalty program. More ambitious plans will be announced in due course.”

New and existing G-Shop members will earn double G-Shop points for every hotel booking made to top Asia destinations Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan. Travel agents will also be delighted that popular European and America cities such as Paris, Milan, New York and Los Angeles are eligible for the promotion too.

To qualify for the promotion, hotel bookings must be made by 31 March 2018 and travel must be completed by 30 June 2018. Points earned can be accumulated till 31 March 2019 to redeem bigger rewards.
