Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) cancelled flights on the Bangkok-Denpasar route due to volcanic ash clouds in the air space vicinity as a result of the eruption of the Mount Agung volcano on Bali Island, which situated 75 kilometers far from Denpasar International Airport. As a result, Denpasar International Airport announced its temporary closure from 28 June 2018 at 19.00 hours (local time) and all airlines ceased flight departures and arrivals. For safety reasons, THAI cancelled flight operations on 29 June 2018, which are TG431 on the route Bangkok-Denpasar and flight TG432 on the route Denpasar- Bangkok. However, THAI will closely monitor and assess the situation in order to ensure the highest level of safety and will resume normal flight operations when conditions on Bali Island improve.

THAI operates one flight daily between Bangkok and Denpasar in Bali. Flight TG431 departs from Suvarnabhumi Airport at 09.35 hours and arrives in Denpasar at 14.55 hours (local time) and the return flight TG432 departs from Denpasar International Airport at 16.55 hours (local time) and arrives at Suvarnabhumi Airport at 20.05 hours.

Passengers who require to depart on flights mentioned are encouraged to keep abreast of news and check the flight schedule on THAI’s website.
