Guests are invited to use a special package at Tokyo Shangri-La including a car with private chauffeur.
TOKYO- Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo has launched a new accommodation package, “Explore Tokyo in Style,” which offers guests the opportunity to experience the hotel’s private limousine for tours of the city, chauffeured by an expert local driver. Guests can use the service to visit sightseeing spots of choice, select one of the hotel’s recommended routes, ride in style to or from Tokyo’s airports at Haneda and Narita, or for any business needs. The service is available since December 2012.
The “Explore Tokyo in Style” package includes complimentary use of our chauffeured hotel car for two hours per stay when staying a minimum of two nights, breakfast at Piacere or The Lobby Lounge, complimentary upgrade to the next room category, late check-out until 3 p.m., broadband internet connection and access to the Health Club and swimming pool. The package is valid from 1 December 2012 to 30 June 2013. Reservations can be made on Shangri-La Hotel website.
Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo’s commitment encouraging guests to explore and experience Japanese culture first-hand is extended to an entirely new service unique to Tokyo by this package. It is the latest addition to the hotel’s growing list of services, following the extension of the hotel’s unique “Meet and Greet” airport-to-city services to the vast bullet train network, which allows guests to enjoy one of the hotel’s “Enchanting Excursions” to some of Japan’s most scenic spots in Kyoto, Hakone and Izu.

The 200-room Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo opened on 2 March 2009 as Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts’ first property in Japan. The hotel occupies the top 11 floors of the 37-floor, mixed-use Marunouchi Trust Tower Main building, located adjacent and with direct access to Tokyo Station, which serves as the terminus of the Shinkansen bullet train network that extends nationwide as well as the city’s railway hub that connects local train and subway lines with regional services.
