Mr Martin Craigs, PATA CEO, said: “The MoU signals closer tourism cooperation between PATA and Guangdong. Both parties will now share more intelligence and work more closely together. The partnership will help empower Pearl River Delta regional tourism as a case study in regional tourism cooperation and promotion.”

Commenting on the MoU, Mr Yang Rongsen, Director General, GDTA, said: “I believe with the tourism cooperation memorandum signed, the Tourism Administration of Guangdong Province has established closer and friendly cooperation with PATA. Our two parties will work together to develop the tourism market, improve the image of tourism destinations in Guangdong, provide tourism consultancy services and strengthen tourism industry training.
