On Boxing Day 2004 the world reeled at the devastation wreaked by the most catastrophic natural disaster in living memory. In the immediate aftermath of the tsunami a large number of customers contacted Explore wanting to help people in the areas they had previously visited. Within a short space of time, Explore, its staff and customers had together raised over £28,000.
Explore tour leaders and our overseas agents have provided valuable knowledge in identifying key short and long-term projects worthy of funding. Explore has thus far been able to ensure that money has not only been spent, but spent wisely.
