Train, the most frequent mean of transportation in India, was hit again by terrorist attacks. Officials in Mumbai expressed the view that the clear intention of the blasts was to suffer mass casualties and to sake the Indian government.

190 people were killed and the 600 injured. The financial capital of India struggles to come to its normal rhythms while the international community condemns the attacks. Police is searching for clues which will lead to the terrorists. No terrorist group has taken the blaim for the blasts so far.

“We are searching for the kind of the explosives that had been used and where exactly were the bombs been placed,” officials from the local police said.

Major cities worldwide took strict antiterrorist measures after the eight terrorist attacks which all occurred in 20 minutes time when people return to their homes with the suburb.

US president Bush condemned the attacks and said that these incidents will reinforce international determination against terrorism.

Pakistan`s President Pervez Musharraf also said he strongly condemned the attacks and expressed condolences over the loss of innocent lives.

Terrorist attacks in Mumbai is not something new as a string of bomb explosions hit the city in 1993 killing more than 250 people. Those attacks were blamed on the city`s underworld criminal gangs.
