Located 2.5 hours from Shanghai and 1 hour from Hangzhou, Le Passage Mohkan Shan is easily accessible from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, Shanghai Pudong and Hongqiao International Airports, as well as Hangzhou and Deqing high-speed train stations.

MOGANSHAN, Zhejiang Province – Guests can now own their very own private French luxury country house hotel, restaurant and tea plantation in China with the opportunity to take-over and privatize Le Passage Mohkan Shan. With 29 rooms across the hotel and a myriad of customizable dining, meeting and event facilities, Le Passage Mohkan Shan is ideal for groups of 60 people for corporate escapes, birthday parties, black-tie events, idyllic weddings and product launches.

Priced at RMB 98,000 for one night or RMB 158,000 for two nights, plus 15 percent service charge, guests can experience full private access to the entire hotel’s facilities. A unique opportunity and proposition in China, every aspect of Le Passage Mohkan Shan’s layout and offerings can be customizable and tailored to the needs of its guests. From breathtaking weddings in the new Oriental Banquet Room and board meetings in the Wardian Room, to wine dinners in the underground Wine Cellar Dining Room and tea-picking in the working tea plantation, the entire hotel is now available for privatization.

Le Passage Mohkan Shan’s size and layout leads to an intimate, yet spacious and private experience for group bookings. In the tradition of old French heritage properties, the hotel’s 29 spacious rooms start at 65 sqm with high ceilings, oversized bathrooms, antique wood floors, and tall windows decorated with white wooden blinds. The main building and five detached houses circle then hotel’s private spring water reservoir, with access to all of the hotel’s facilities within a five minute walk of any room.

Fast becoming known as a leading gourmet destination in Asia, food is also central to the Le Passage Mohkan Shan private escape experience. Executive Head Chef Jackie Chen and his team create fine French and Chinese cuisine from crabs, oysters, lobsters and seafood imported weekly from France and fruits and vegetables collected daily from the local organic farm. Each dining menu can be designed for the individual needs of the guests, customizing branding and wording to make it a personal experience.

Le Passage Mohkan Shan’s dining options include the Fine Dining restaurant, Pool Restaurant, two Pool Pavilions, Wine Cellar and Wine Cellar Dining Room, Lounge Bar and Fireside Salon and The Oriental Banquet Room that can host up to 120 people, plus vast outdoor dining options, making each meal a different experience throughout the stay.

With the booking of the entire hotel, guests also get exclusive access and training in the The French Cooking School at Le Passage Mohkan Shan, with the opportunity to learn more about French and Western cuisine from in-house Foie Gras expert Fabienne La Beyerie. With space for up to 10 people at a time, it is an ideal activity for friends or teambuilding, with courses for beginners to advanced cooks including learning the art of cooking Terrine De Foie Gras and Chocolate Fondants.

Away from the buildings of the hotel and through Le Passage Mohkan Shan’ 12,000 rose bushes and tea plantation is the nature and mountains of Moganshan with endless possibilities for activities and adventure. Across the hills are numerous trails that are great for outdoor activities, hiking, biking and sledging in the winter snow.

Tea-picking on the hotel’s working tea plantation in Spring, rose picking and flower arranging from the hotel’s rose garden, bird watching, a Land Rover off-road experience and golf at the nearby two courses are just some of the activities that Le Passage Mohkan Shan can help organize. At the heart of the hotel is the year-round heated spring water pool for guests to relax and escape either the cold of winter or the heat of summer.

Le Passage Mohkan Shan helps coordinate transportation for its guests from across the China region, making the whole privatized experience as hassle-free as possible.
