Korean Air’s inaugural flight to Okinawa touches down

Korean Air commenced daily non-stop flights between Incheon and Okinawa from 5th May 2016, utilising B777-200ER aircraft.

HONG KONG – Korean Air’s maiden flight to Okinawa, KE735, touched down at Naha International Airport at 17:55 on Thursday 5th May. The airline’s inaugural flight was met by Okinawa officials for welcome and ribbon-cutting ceremonies.
 
Present at the ceremonies were the current Governor of Okinawa Prefecture, Mr. Takeshi Onaga and the President of Okinawa Convention & Visitors Bureau (OCVB), Mr. Taira Chokei as well as Korean Air’s Regional Director for Japan, Mr. Kim Jeong Soo. The officials of Okinawa welcomed Korean Air to Okinawa with warm greetings and speeches. Mr. Kim thanked the guests for the warm welcome and pledged Korean Air’s commitment to Okinawa’s tourism industry.
 
Korean Air commenced daily non-stop flights between Incheon and Okinawa from 5th May 2016, utilising B777-200ER aircraft. The flight leaves Incheon, Seoul at 15:30, arriving in Okinawa at 17:55. It then departs Okinawa at 19:05, arriving back in Incheon at 21:35 the same day.
