Kirimaya brings luxury to Khao Yai Park

Thailand is not just holidays on the beach or in cities. In Khao Yai National Park, in the midst of Isaan province, Kirimaya hotel developed two resorts from exceptional quality to offer a luxury alternative in a natural paradise.

BANGKOK- it is one of Thailand’s pride: the Khao Yai National Park, just two hours away from Bangkok, is one of the most precious natural assets of the Kingdom of Thailand. UNESCO registered the park as a World Heritage of nature due to its exceptional essences, plants, the presence of wild elephants and migrant birds. Best time to visit the Park is during the winter season in February when wild elephants and myriads of migrant birds are visible. However, the Park can be visited at any time of the season, From June until the end of July, wild orchids bloom while thousands of butterflies can be observed.

For a long time, Khao Yai had only in its surroundings a bunch of small charmless hotels mostly targeting young domestic travellers. But since 2005, Khao Yai Park targets also high-end tourists with the Kirimaya hotel chain offering two exceptional resorts. Located on the fringe of the National Park, Kirimaya is a series of villas in a minimalist contemporary style nestled in Khao Yai grand scenery. The resort complex offers 56 rooms and terraces, 65 villas, as well as four deluxe tented villas with a private spa pool of 180 m2. They all offer panoramic views on the Park and the forests.

The most recent project has been the addition of Muthi Maya, the ultimate in luxury. It is a unique villa located 2.5 km from Kirimaya. Specially designed, the pavillon is an ideal retreat for travellers with friends or in family. It offers a private pool with wooden deck, a Jacuzzi while a private butler will take care of all wishes of the guests.MuthiMaya has an open-air restaurant and bar which can be privatized.

MICE is also a segment that Kirimaya is now targeting. The resort can welcome small groups as it is equipped with two conference rooms and one executive boardroom with a total capacity for a maximum of 120 people. The immediate proximity of a world-class 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus, ensures that Kirimaya will offer to MICE groups the utmost experience by combining pristine nature, sophisticated accommodation, sports and the finest of Thai and international gastronomy.
