IMPACT invests heavily in mega projects

In partnership with Sanderson Group, an Australian thematic design and construction company who stood behind the success of Disney Seas in Tokyo and Universal Studios Singapore, this fun-packed family theme park is expected to completed by late 2017 or early 2018.

IMPACT is set to spend more than 3.5 billion baht on forthcoming mega projects to enhance its facilities and amenities to accommodate and fulfill the lifestyle of people of all ages and genders in Muang Thong Thani to the fullest.

Mr. Paul Kanjanapas, Managing Director of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd, said: “In the near future, we are going to see some of the biggest investments in mega projects in IMPACT’s history including a 200-million-baht Theme Park sitting along the shore of the lake, specially designed to be a gathering point for the family to share memorable moments together. Business travelers bringing children on board attending a conference at our venue can leave their kids at the theme park while they are in a meeting. With our one-stop entertainment complex coupled with other state-of-the art facilities and amenities nearby the exhibition center, the family would end up staying longer and that is exactly what we are looking for.” In partnership with Sanderson Group, an Australian thematic design and construction company who stood behind the success of Disney Seas in Tokyo and Universal Studios Singapore, this fun-packed family theme park is expected to completed by late 2017 or early 2018.

Another exciting large-scale investment project is Marina which caters services to yachtsmen looking to lease out a space for mooring a boat when it is not in use. This will include a variety of amenities such as a movie theater, restaurants, shops and stores on site as well as the transformation of the historic Eastin Lakeside Hotel into the most luxury 5-star hotel in Muang Thong Thani.

Coming soon at the end of this year is a trendy 587-room Ibis Hotel, a substantial addition to the Novotel IMPACT Bangkok. “I also plan to develop more hotels in the venue in case the Novotel Bangkok IMPACT and Ibis are completely booked up,” Mr. Paul said.

Other soon-to-be-open projects entail a 5-storey retail building, comprising shops and restaurants on an area of 8,000 square meters as well as 12 badminton courts and a swimming pool at IMPACT Sports Complex.
