Tourism Minister Ahmed El-Magarabi left Cairo Wednesday for Beijing for a one-week visit to China, during which he is to sign a protocol for enhancing joint cooperation in the tourism domain.
He leads a delegation from the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion.
While in China, Maghrabi is expected to tour a number of Chinese cities and resorts.
He is also scheduled to meet with senior Chinese officials in the tourism field in a bid to probe prospects of establishing joint tourist projects, in addition to organizing tourist programs between the two countries.
