Dusit International showcases Thailand properties at TTM+ 2013

Dusit International has more than 60 years' experience in the hotel and hospitality field. Founded in 1949 Dusit International has since acquired a unique portfolio of distinctive hotels, building upon Thai culture and tradition to create a personalized welcome for all guests made distinctive under the Dusit International brand promise. It also operates Dusit Residences and its own signature Devarana Spa.

BANGKOK – Having recorded a strong start to 2013 with 12.8 % growth in revenue year-to-date, the Asian hospitality group Dusit International showcases its Thailand based properties at Thailand Travel Mart Plus 2013 (TTM+ 2013), the largest B2B tourism exhibition in Thailand.

There is great interest among buyers attending to meet with Dusit International representatives at the show, according to Ms Dorinda Chua, Assistant Vice President of Global Sales. Representatives from all of Dusit International’s Thailand properties will be on hand to meet key domestic and international clients on stands D12, D13, D34 and D35.

Dusit International representatives will share with the trade details about the company’s ongoing expansion plans aiming at doubling of its hotels and resorts over the next two years. Announcements made in 2013 include projects in Nairobi, Kenya; Khao Yai, Thailand; Doha, Qatar and China. Further announcements to be made in due course include such locations as Singapore and a second hotel in Dubai.

Key to this expansion plan is a joint venture agreement between Dusit International and a China-based partner, announced earlier this year. A minimum of 10 hotels will be developed over the next five years and by 2020, the aggregate number of Dusit-branded hotel rooms in China will number approximately 5,000. “As we continue to further develop our international presence, we look forward to showcasing our Thailand properties, as they have been the focus of our business for many years,” says Ms Chua.
