BALI, Indonesia – Conrad Bali is giving lovers the chance to experience secluded bliss together after announcing its exclusive Couples Retreat.
The award-winning luxury resort’s offering consists of 150 minutes of wellness serenity in a private villa at Jiwa Spa and a private Beach Bale dinner prepared by the team at Eight Degrees South.

The retreat’s spa element is named ‘Rama and Shinta’ after the age-old love story between the avatar of the supreme Hindu god Vishnu and his wife, and takes place at the island’s premier wellness destination.
Jiwa Spa, recently named Indonesia’s Leading Spa resort at World Travel Awards 2014, has seamless spaces and treatments inspired by holistic, ancient Balinese wellness themes and practices. The Spa Villa is an oasis of spacious tranquillity for couples and includes a flower petal bath with candles.
The treatment also consists of an aromatherapy foot ritual, Javanese lulur body scrub, ocean flow massage, foot reflexology for men, and a refresher facial for women. The oil used is a high quality traditional Balinese product, while the ingredients for the body scrub and facial have no preservatives.
The dinner element is a four-course meal at a beach bale (pronounced bah-lay) – a traditional flower-decorated Balinese open-sided gazebo with a thatched roof made of cogon grass. The meal includes lobster salad, watermelon gazpacho, mushroom cappuccino, beef tenderloin, pan-seared salmon, baked apricot cheesecake with citrus cream sauce, and a sampling of fresh, local, seasonal fruit. As a special bonus, couples are offered a glass of Champagne.
