Concur Japan introduces the App Center bringing connected apps to 30 million users

Concur App Center delivers market-specific apps to bring effortless expense reporting to Japan.

BELLEVUE, Wash. – Concur, the leader in cloud-based travel and expense solutions and services, announced that it will begin offering the App Center in Japan. The App Center provides more than 30 million users worldwide applications and services that are seamlessly integrated with Concur to simplify business travel and expense reporting.

Expense calculation costs across Japan amount to nearly one trillion yen. Today’s roll out of the Concur App Center will bring automation and efficiency to business travel booking and expense calculation, so business travelers can be more productive and focus on what matters most,” said Masamune Mimura, Concur Japan Ltd. president and CEO. “With the introduction of the App Center in Japan we hope to ease the pain of T&E and bring to life The Perfect Trip. In the future we hope to expand further with a developer community in Japan, growing the open ecosystem to include many more local partners.

Through the App Center, business travelers and clients can find domestic and overseas applications and services that interact seamlessly with Concur. Individual traveler apps improve employee productivity by automatically digitizing receipt images, creating expenses from spreadsheets and automatically creating E-receipts from various service providers. Company apps increase visibility into spend, simplify management of compliance with complex global regulations and integrate with existing business systems.

Concur clients in Japan will have access to a growing ecosystem of partner applications in the Concur App Center. The latest partnerships include:
