China Travel Distribution & Tech Summit opens for registration

Traveldaily, China’s leading online publisher with emphasis on the distribution, marketing and technology trends in the travel and tourism industries, announced that it will host the 2008 China Travel Distribution & Technology Summit at the InterContinental Pudong Hotel, Shanghai from November 20 to 21, 2008.

“The international travel industry now recognizes that China is the future of their business. It is anticipated that by 2015 China will become the largest domestic travel market, the No.1 travel destination and the No.4 source market in the world. To understand this market and how local consumers are buying travel is increasingly becoming important for the multinational companies who are looking to invest in China or to do business with Chinese companies,” said Eva He, marketing director of Traveldaily.

“Traveldaily is proud to host China’s leading travel distribution conference by bringing distinguished speakers from both Chinese and international travel companies. The feedback from the travel trade is very positive since we started to plan this conference. The Regional vice president, North Asia of IATA will make an opening speech to the delegates. The CEO from China’s top 3 leading online travel companies, namely Ctrip, Elong and Mangocity, have confirmed their roles as speakers, too, at this conference. Senior executives from Expedia, Zuji, Agoda, Sabre, Travelport, Amadeus, Travelsky, Northwest Airlines, British Airways, Air China, China Air Spring, Wego, Qunar, Kooxoo, Accor Hotels and other leading Chinese travel companies have also pledged major support for this conference. By working together with them and our media partners, we are striving to make this conference a great success and create excellent networking opportunities for travel industry professionals.”
