China Southern continues safety record in 2011

At 23:17 PM, December 31, 2011, with smooth landing of Beijing – Guangzhou Flight, number CZ3100, by A380 at Baiyun Airport, Guangzhou, China Southern Airlines drew a satisfactory conclusion for its flight production in 2011 and successfully reached the target of Safe Production Year. Accumulative 8.974 million hours of safe flight and 211 months of aviation safety support remain the best safety record of Chinese aviation.

So far, China Southern has a fleet of 444 modern aircrafts of all kinds, the scale of which is the largest in Asia and the sixth in the world. The Company newly added many international routes to Europe, America, Australia etc., with 1930 flights each day to 191 destinations in 33 countries and regions. Its flight network ranks the first in Asia and the fifth in the world.

In 2011, the Company (including Xiamen Airline) achieved safe flight of 1.50 million hours.
