Catalina Aerospace adds Hawker to its fleet

Catalina Aerospace Corporation announces the addition of another Hawker 800a to its already impressive fleet of aircrafts.

Catalina’s modern Hawker 800 is the result of decades of refinement to the line, and comfortably seats eight passengers. It is a “midsize” category aircraft featuring a fully enclosed lavatory, a standup cabin (69” from floor to headboard) and a fully integrated entertainment system. The aircraft has an endurance of approximately 2,300 nautical miles and is capable of flying nonstop from Los Angeles to Miami.

With over 3,000 licensed air charter companies in the United States alone, today’s modern traveler has more access to private air travel than ever. It’s not every day that travelers actually fly with the owner of the aircraft, but when they choose Catalina, it’s almost every day.

Catalina’s founder and owner Ben Nemser has over 35 years of aviation experience. Nemser makes a concerted effort to either fly clients or meet them personally at the airport before a voyage to ensure an unforgettable experience. Repeat clients are strong at Catalina because of this level of service at a price level that is 25-40% lower than industry standard. With Nemser’s hands-on involvement, clients are dealing directly with Catalina, rather than with a broker who is earning a hefty commission on the flight.

The company operates four aircraft: two Hawker 800a midsize jets, one Learjet 31a and one Cessna 340. They are maintained to exceed all standards set forth by the Federal Aviation Administration, and are cleaned to the most impeccable standards within the industry. Aircraft interiors are refitted approximately every five years, and cabins are taken apart and deep cleaned at least bi-yearly.
