Best Western refreshes online image in Asia

Best Western International (BWI) has unveiled a brand new look and feel for its website in Asia and the Middle East.

BANGKOK – The newly refreshed bestwesternasia.com website offers a complete range of information about BWI’s offerings in Asia and the Middle East – the company’s fastest-growing region. And this in-depth knowledge is now accompanied by stunning imagery which leaps off the screen and immerses the customer in the destination experience.

And that’s not all! BWI has also unveiled a brand new iPad app for its Asia and Middle East hotels, giving visitors the chance to explore more than 100 Best Western hotels at their fingertips. The application is user-friendly, providing detailed information about the hotels’ rooms, amenities and facilities, along with Google maps of the local area. Customers can also book the hotels directly via the app, while on the move. This application is available to download for free from the iTunes store in all countries, under the name ‘Best Western Asia’.

“Today’s traveler needs an informative and immersive online experience, and we are delighted to be able to provide this with our excellent new website and iPad app for Asia and the Middle East. We will soon have an android application too” said Glenn de Souza, BWI’s Vice President of International Operations for Asia & the Middle East.

“The new website allows our guests to become fully engaged with our 135-plus hotels in the region, providing all the information one needs to make an informed and easy booking. And with our enhanced collection of hotel and destination images, guests will be able to experience that feeling of exploration before they even check-in,” Mr. de Souza added.

The latest technological advances continue BWI’s pioneering role in the industry. Over the last few years, the company has introduced a selection of innovative new online and mobile tools, including a new global website, apps for all smartphones and tablets, and even a booking widget for Facebook users.

BWI currently operates a portfolio of more than 135 hotels across Asia and the Middle East, under its three products – midscale BEST WESTERN, upscale BEST WESTERN PLUS and luxury BEST WESTERN PREMIER. But over the coming year it expects to expand to more than 200 hotels, offering more than 30,000 modern guest rooms across the region.
