Asiana Airlines enters into multi-year partnership with Orbitz Worldwide

The newly launched Asiana Airlines site features a seamless user interface that retains the airline's unique branding and gives customers the ability to book flights or package any combination of air, hotel and car bookings.

CHICAGO – Orbitz Worldwide Distribution has launched a new partnership with Asiana Airlines to power air, hotel, car and dynamic package search and booking capabilities on the company’s U.S. website. Serving over 14 million passengers annually on 285 daily flights, Asiana Airlines is a leading provider of travel to 68 cities in 22 countries around the globe as well as 12 destinations within Korea. The multi-year agreement enables Asiana Airlines customers to leverage Orbitz Worldwide proprietary technology for booking a full range of travel products.

“Asiana Airlines wanted a partner to provide a platform for our U.S. customers to book air tickets as well as the ability to purchase other travel products such as hotels and vacation packages. The clean and flexible user interface on the Orbitz private label site, paired with their excellent customer service capabilities, made it a great solution for us,” said Young Heon Kim, vice president of the Americas at Asiana Airlines.  

“The Orbitz Worldwide private label solution allows Asiana Airlines customers to book all aspects of their travel in the most convenient way possible – without ever leaving our website.”

The newly launched Asiana Airlines site features a seamless user interface that retains the airline’s unique branding and gives customers the ability to book flights or package any combination of air, hotel and car bookings. Through this strategic partnership, Orbitz and Asiana Airlines are able to provide customers with access to a worldwide inventory of hotels as well as deep savings through vacation packages, while simultaneously increasing distribution and exposure for Asiana Airlines in the U.S.
