Air China bags “Best Chinese Airline Serving China” title 2013

The award is recognition by the traveling public of Air China's top-notch operations in the Asia-Pacific region.

BEIJING – The results of the readers’ poll 2013 conducted by Business Traveler China were recently released in Beijing. According to the results of the poll, Air China was honored with the Best Chinese Airline Serving China award. Mr. Fan Heyun, Senior Manager of Branding, Marketing Department, received the award on behalf of Air China.

Business Traveler China is one of the most influential travel magazines in the industry and is available in many cities like Hong Kong and countries like Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam and Australia. The poll, which last three months, was organized jointly by Business Traveler China magazine and a leading market research company.

In 2013, Air China has started Beijing – Houston, Beijing – Geneva and Chengdu – Frankfurt services. With its extensive global route network and its hub in Beijing, Air China will make it easier for passengers from Hong Kong China, South Korea, Australia, Thailand and Japan, among others, to travel to Europe and America via Beijing.

Air China plans to fully upgrade its Beijing – San Francisco route next February. By then, all the four routes from Beijing to the United States will have been operated with B777-300ER, an aircraft type very popular with global business travelers. As the most advanced, comfortable and luxurious twin-engine long-range aircraft operated in Mainland China, B777-300ER features full-flat seats in its First Class and Business Class cabins, and all the three classes of service offer personal power outlets and personal entertainment system, with a wide range of AVOD options guaranteeing that passengers are truly entertained for the duration of the flight.
