Accor Vacation Club celebrated its 10th Anniversary

On the 10th/10th/10th, Accor Vacation Club a wholly owned subsidiary of the Accor Group, the world’s largest hotel operator, celebrated its 10th Anniversary. After just 10 short years the company has grown into one of the largest holiday ownership clubs in the Asia Pacific region, boasting 21 resorts across 3 countries enjoyed by over 28,000 members.

“It’s been an incredible journey for us”, says CEO Craig Wood, “the recent enhancements to our membership, including our travel club by Flight Centre, a brand new member website and extensive property refurbishment schedule mean that our current members, who joined us in the first 10 years, have good reason to celebrate with us”.

Accor Vacation Club staff partied the night away on the Gold Coast to recognise the contribution to the success of the club over the last decade. The night started with a review of the company’s achievements and milestones over the last 10 years. The management then took the opportunity to recognise some key contributors for their outstanding effort and dedication in taking the club where it is today.

Looking forward to the next decade Craig Wood thinks the best is yet to come. “Our members and their satisfaction will continue to be the driving force behind the direction the company will take in the future. Our long term aim is to be the market leader both as an employer and club operator”, a clear vision that is fitting for the year 2020.
