YANGON- Uncertainties surrounding the magnificent Gothic style of the old railways administration building is probably over. The group entered into a non-binding agreement with Singapore-based Yoma Strategic Holdings Ltd. (Yoma) last April.

According to the group, the proposed hotel is located on the site of the former headquarters of the Burma Railway Building in Yangon city centre, next to Scott’s Market, which is a major tourist attraction. The proposed hotel will be at the heart of a mixed-use development. The group will create a new joint venture with Yoma Strategic Holdings Limited.
