Bangalore will also experience Lufthansa new Boeing 747-8

Lufthansa will introduce its newest flagship aircraft the Boeing B747-8 to a second city in India. After Delhi, Bangalore will also experience the comfort of the brand new Lufthansa plane.

FRANKFURT- Lufthansa call it the “Königin der Lüfte” (“Queen of the Skies” in German). The German airline’s newest aircraft, the revolutionary Boeing 747-8 will be seen in Bangalore from September 13. The airline will fly daily from Frankfurt to one of the most dynamic cities in India. The Lufthansa flight LH 745 will start every day at 12:15 pm to land after midnight in India’s capital of high tech. The return flight will Be at 2:30 am for a landing in Frankfurt around 8:25 am.

The Boeing 747-8 was introduced last spring by Lufthansa. So far, only three aircraft are in service and fly to three destinations, of which two are in India: Delhi and soon Bangalore (the third city to be served is Washington DC). On board passengers will be able to enjoy Lufthansa new business class product comprising a seat stretching up to 1m98. Passengers will enjoy new food menus as well as ana improved entertainment program. Not only the Boeing 747-8 offers additional comfort to passengers but the aircraft helps reducing fuel consumption by 15% per passenger and CO2 emissions by 30%.

Tickets can already be booked with the new aircraft since last week. Lufthansa is due to receive during the last quarter of the year a fourth aircraft of the same type, which will be put into service to Los Angeles. In total, Lufthansa ordered 20 aircraft Boeing B747-8.
