Travel agents across the globe can now benefit from their own website, mobile applications, corporate booking tool and B2B platform.
TPConnects has announced that it is extending its Digital Empowerment Initiative globally following the project’s success in India. The initiative will empower travel agents located anywhere in the world to compete on a global scale.
Through the initiative, travel agencies across the globe will be provided with their own websites, mobile applications, corporate booking tool and B2B platform, which will be powered by TPConnects' NDC standard internet booking engine with payment gateway. There are no upfront charges, just a nominal per passenger transaction fee and TPConnects will provide any technical support required.
The B2B and B2C platform will help travel agencies and OTAs service their customers better, with access to rich content as well as ancillary options. Travellers can have their preferences recognized when shopping via the agency’s or OTA site in the same way they are available on an airline’s website. This provides a level service which may not be directly available to agents today due to technology limitations.
The Digital Empowerment Initiative has been extended globally following the success of the TAAI Connect project in India, launched earlier this year through TPConnects’ partnership with the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI). Now every travel agent and OTA can be online and visible, with tailor-made travel offers providing more choices to end-customers.
