Destination Group welcomes the world back to Thailand

The kingdom’s leading owner and operator of family-oriented resorts and attractions to attend ITB Berlin, the world’s leading travel trade show, from 7-9 March 2023.

BANGKOK, THAILAND – Destination Group, leading owner and operator of leisure resorts and attractions in Thailand, is rolling out the welcome mat for families, friends and couples this year at its collection of world-class resorts in many of the kingdom’s most desirable beach destinations, including Phuket, Hua Hin, Pattaya and Koh Samui.

For more than 25 years, Destination Group has been creating “Great Places To Be” in Thailand, with a portfolio that now comprises hotels, activities and attractions – including internationally-branded resorts. At ITB Berlin, the world’s leading travel trade show from 7-9 March 2023, delegates can meet Destination Group’s executive team and learn about ten of the company’s most exciting projects. These include:

  • Siam Adventure Club: At the heart of Destination Group’s family resort concept, Siam Adventure Club* is an action-packed activity centre for children and teens. Youngsters can plunge into ball pits, watch movies, enjoy arts & crafts, and play at the playground or on a PS4, while activities include scavenger hunts, foam parties, cooking classes and more!
  • Koho Surf: Hit the waves and learn a new skill on vacation at Koho Surf, Phuket’s fully accredited surf school! Located at Karon Beach, close to Holiday Inn Resort Phuket Karon Beach, this professional water sports hub offers surfing lessons for individuals, couples, kids and groups, led by qualified instructors, plus board rental.
  • Radisson Resort & Spa Hua Hin: Nestled directly on Cha-am Beach, this upscale resort features 243 stylish rooms and suites with sea views, including a selection of family rooms with bunk beds. Facilities comprise an outdoor pool with a water slide, a water sports centre, a gym, a spa and multiple restaurants and bars, including a beach club with cabanas.
  • Koho Skate Park: Located on-site at Radisson Resort & Spa Hua Hin, this urban attraction will entertain teens and young adults. This social hub is perfect for skateboards, scooters, roller skates or in-line skates; this social hub is ideal for all ability levels and attracts local kids. Skate Night Discos are hosted from 6-9pn every weekend!
  • Radisson Resort & Suites Phuket: This upscale resort sets the stage for dream family holidays. The 179 one- to three-bedroom suites are perfect for parents and children, and a wide range of facilities includes five F&B outlets, Kid’s World and a gym. Unwind in lush tropical gardens with a lagoon pool, swim-up bar and a kids’ pool with a water slide.
  • Radisson RED Phuket Patong Beach: This design-led hotel presents a playful twist on the conventional with stylish rooms and social spaces. Situated in the heart of Patong, 270 metres from the beach, this 390-key upscale hotel features family rooms with bunk beds and party rooms, a rooftop pool and bar, a “secret” lounge, a restaurant and more.
  • Holiday Inn Resort Phuket Karon Beach: Overlooking the sea on Phuket’s sunset coast, this leisure-focused retreat features 224 rooms and suites, including family rooms and units with private plunge pools. Guests can unwind at five restaurants and bars, a gym, a spa, three swimming pools, and a children’s pool with a waterslide.
  • Holiday Inn Resort Phuket Surin Beach: Located just 100 metres from the beach, this outstanding resort offers 256 rooms and suites, including family units. Guests can dine from four restaurants and bars or relax at a pool with water slides, a kids’ pool, a gym and a spa. There is a games arcade, cinema, ice cream parlour and toy store for children.
  • SocialTel Koh Samui: Get the party started at this upbeat adults-only hotel, which bridges the gap between a boutique hotel and a social hostel. Travellers can chill out at Sandbox, a beach club which hosts pool parties, sip cocktails at the Powder Room, or stay connected at Urban Grunge, a co-working space. A rooftop nightclub is coming soon!
