Cleartrip onboards AirAsia Berhad; Unlocks more offerings for Southeast Asia travel

The outlook for International travel in the coming months looks positive with bookings to major South East Asian countries registering a significant spike in Q4 2022 over Q3 2022. In fact, the highest number of bookings from India were made to Indonesia and Thailand.

Cleartrip, one of India’s fastest-growing OTAs, announced the onboarding of AirAsia Berhad onto its platform. The key development will provide greater travel options to its users – in terms of routes and price offerings. Sectors include the International flights covered by AirAsia from India to Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand. AirAsia flies to over 140 destinations across the world.

With the relaxation of COVID restrictions and international travel opening up, Cleartrip has witnessed a growth of 75% in Q4 2022 compared to Q3 2022. As the travel demand continues to surge, Cleartrip will continue to expand its service portfolio, further its flight and hotel offerings, and unveil customer-centric features on its platform.
