SATS Ltd. (SATS) announced it is extending its partnership with Scoot
SINGAPORE – SATS Ltd. (SATS), Asia’s leading provider of Food Solutions and Gateway Services,announced it is extending its partnership with Scoot from buy-on-board food and drinks to include logistics for the digital inflight portal, ScootHub,which will be made available on Scoot flights by end-December 2020.
The first of its kind in the region to feature diverse functionalities, ScootHub will enable a plethora of digital inflight services, including a digital menu and duty-free shopping catalogue for passengers. Using their own mobile devices, passengers will be able to order food and drinks from Scoot Café and duty-free items from KrisShop. This eliminates the need to reach out to the cabin crew for service or wait for a specific time to shop, offering passengers a safe, low-touch experience for ordering food, drinks and shopping at any time, and the airline an opportunity to increase ancillary revenue.

In partnership with AirFi, SATS is able to switch from printed to digital menus, enabling SATS to better predict customer demand and work with Scoot to refresh the offerings more often to feature the latest F&B trends. This will elevate the onboard experience on Scoot for post-COVID-19 travel, and make it more sustainable with less paper and waste.”
