Oakwood’s first Myanmar property set to transform Yangon’s hospitality landscape in 2021

Singapore - Oakwood, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mapletree Investments (“Mapletree”), announced its first Oakwood Hotel & Apartments in the Bahan Township of Yangon, Myanmar. Opening in the second half of 2021, this new development signals Oakwood’s aggressive expansion within Asia Pacific following recent property announcements in Australia, Cambodia, The People’s Republic of China, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.
