INDIA – W Hotels announce the promotion of Shailesh Mordekar to Director of Services at W Goa. In his new role, Shailesh will be responsible for overseeing all operational departments of the hotel, including guest services, housekeeping, engineering, and security.
A hospitality veteran, Shailesh is a proven leader with over 20 years of experience in managing a diverse range of facility and Rooms management in different hospitality segments namely Luxury Resorts, Business Hotels, and Cruise Lines. He has an in-depth know-how of leading Rooms operations in accordance with hotel policies and procedures. And is adept at monitoring and developing team member performance in terms of professional development and evaluations.
Well-versed in maintaining high standards of excellence in daily facility and housekeeping operations, he has been an integral part of W Goa for over 2 years, having served as Executive Housekeeper in his previous role at the hotel. He started his career in the hospitality industry and worked with leading hospitality brands like Taj, ITC, Hyatt, and Starwood. Shailesh has a great hand in resolving problems, improving customer satisfaction & driving revenues.
During his time at W Goa, Shailesh has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, a commitment to excellence, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. He has been instrumental in implementing innovative strategies to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
