Shinta Mani Hotels welcomes Benjamin Lehmann as GM of Shinta Mani Angkor and Bensley Collection Pool Villas, bringing luxury experience.
Anthony Lark, Executive Director of HMD Asia who own and manage Shinta Mani Hotels in Cambodia, announced the appointment of Benjamin Lehmann as General Manager of Shinta Mani Angkor and Bensley Collection Pool Villas in Siem Reap.
Born in Switzerland, Benjamin holds a degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management from the highly respected École Hôtelière de Lausanne (SSTH), a world leader in hospitality training. Benjamin has lived in Asia for 12 years, holding senior roles with luxury brands in Thailand and Cambodia. Prior to joining Shinta Mani Angkor and Bensley Collection Pool Villas, Benjamin was the Pre-Opening General Manager for Mercure Bangkok Surawong.
Benjamin’s passion for sustainability and the environment as well as teamwork and collaboration, combined with his strong experience in hotel management make him the perfect candidate to take the helm at the Siem Reap property. His role also oversees the Shinta Mani Foundation which works with local villagers on the pillars of education, health, micro-loans and direct assistance. The Foundation’s Hospitality School is located at the hotel.
“I’m excited to return to Cambodia which is such a unique destination with a rich culture for guests to explore. With the opening of the new International airport last year, we look forward to increased capacity for Siem Reap which is also a gateway to other destinations within Cambodia. I look forward to working with the Cambodian people again, who are humble and gracious and to which hospitality comes naturally,” said Benjamin.
