The appointment of Vimal Kirthi, a highly respected and experienced tennis instructor who has been involved in tennis coaching for 18 years,will further enhance the recreational options at SAii Laguna Phuket. During his long and distinguished career, Vimal has held roles at resorts and tennis academies in five countries, including spells as Director of Tennis with Jim Courier Tennis in the Maldives, Tennis Professional at Pro Tennis Oman, Academy Director at sportED Tennis in China, and most recently, founder of his own tennis academy, One Love Tennis in Shanghai. He believes that tennis training should be based on the “Three Ps”: Professionalism, Patience and People-First.
As Director of Tennis at SAii Laguna Phuket, Vimal will use his extensive knowledge and skill to create comprehensive tennis programmes for the resort’s guests, whether they are picking up a racquet for the first time or need a little extra help perfecting their serve, forehand or backhand.
