Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE) has launched the new AIME Awards for stand design and industry contribution and introduced an AIME Awards logo. “This year we wanted to lift the level of competition, enthusiasm and support for best practice and commitment to our industry. We believe that our new look AIME Awards will not only promote excellence but also recognize people within the industry that otherwise may go unnoticed,” said Rosemarie Sama, AIME Event Director.
The AIME Awards for stand design recognize contribution to AIME through expertise and professionalism in stand design and presentation within the exhibition while the AIME Awards for industry recognize contribution to the industry by an individual.
Stand Awards will be judged in four categories:
- Best Single Exhibitor Stand
- Best Multi Exhibitor Stand
- Most Creative Stand Design
- Best New Exhibitor Stand
Industry Awards will be judged in two categories:
- Industry Person of the Year – International
- Industry Person of the Year – Asia Pacific
All AIME 2006 exhibitors are eligible to win a Stand Award. Criteria for the AIME Awards for stand design are listed within the AIME Marketing Manual on the AIME website.
The Industry Person of the Year Awards will be chosen based on submissions received on the AIME website. Criteria for nominations can be found in the Exhibitor Zone and Hosted Buyer Zone on the website.
Award winners will be announced by RTE at the AIME Gala Dinner – AIME Carnivale – on Tuesday 6 June.
